COMMUNITY HEALTH & SAFETY NOTICE

The World Health Organization has declared COVID-19 a global pandemic and we are instituting health & safety precautions across all of our communities in order to protect our residents and staff. We are limiting in-person contact and are strongly encouraging all residents to pay rent & submit all service requests through either your online portal, by email, or by phone to keep yourself, fellow residents and our staff safe.

Future Residents Welcome. Our leasing services are still available to all those looking for a new place to call home! For those looking for information about renting with us, please contact us today to make an appointment or schedule a virtual showing. During in-person appointments, we ask that you respect our current health & safety standards by maintaining some personal distance from our staff and accept a friendly wave from us instead of a handshake. Rest assured that we are maintaining very strict cleanliness standards in our office and in any units we are touring.

Convenient & Safe Online Portal. Keep yourself, your fellow residents and our staff safe by using your online portal. If you have not set up your portal yet, please reach out to our office at the contact above or call our corporate office to activate your account. Your portal can be accessed by visiting djaproperties.com/resident-portal or by downloading the AppFolio Online Portal from your mobile device's app store.

Free Online Payment Option. We offer online payments to all residents. By choosing the online option, you guarantee that you are not getting exposed or exposing other vulnerable people in our community to the virus. And paying online with our e-check option is the only option that is completely free-you don't even have to pay for a check! These payments are fast, safe, and can be done at any time using your AppFolio tenant portal. We also offer a credit/debit card option for a fee. For those of you who need to or prefer to pay rent with cash, you can do so at a local CVS or 7-Eleven using our PaySlip option for a small fee. The great thing about PaySlip is that your rent is immediately credited when you pay, so you don't have to risk losing your money order or having to carry it to the property office. Your PaySlip can be downloaded from your portal or we can provide one to you-contact us if you need assistance. You can also use the rent drop box, but please note we are waiting 24 hours to process all paper items per current health recommendations, and by coming to the office you are potentially exposing yourself, fellow residents and our staff to the virus.

Maintenance Emergencies. If your unit requires any maintenance, please inform us through the portal or by calling or emailing. Be sure to inform us if anyone in your unit is sick. We will still be able to service your unit but will need to prepare in advance for our visit.

Be Safe. Lastly, we ask that you do your part to comply with the recommendations from the CDC: protect yourself and each other by maintaining distance from property staff and fellow residents, wash your hands frequently, and stay home when you're sick. We will be closing property amenities except for laundry facilities as needed to ensure the safest environment possible for our community. Our goal is to continue to offer high quality service and keep the community running.
